The stables head trainer is Zoltan Benedek. Zoltan has more then 20 years of experience with race horses. He was apprentice champion in Hungary, and has won many well known stake races. He has won many races in Scandinavia and other countries, such as Chile, Switzerland and Austria.
He believes in a holistic training. What he means by this is that his horse training philosophy is about training not only the body of a horse but also the horses minds and spirit. This makes the horse able to give 100% in every situation at every given time. He also treats every horse as a unique individual with a separate training regime for every single horse in his stable.
The stable is equipped with stalls for 8 horses but with more if necessary, a wash place with warm water, feed- and tack room. We have several paddocks where the horses can relax and enjoy themselves in a free environment. We also have the possibility of daily use of a horse walker.
For cold days our heated "living room" is the place to warm up again over a nice cup of tea.
Our location just off Øvrevoll racecourse provides us with great training facilities right on our doorstep. This saves the horses a lot of traveling for training and racing.
